I started blogging about three years ago when I was 18 and a student with a lot of downtime. I was always drawn to fashion and just felt I needed a place to keep all my ideas and inspiration. I’ve been a fan of Lucky Magazine for years, and my blog definitely took off faster than I would have imagined!

Learn about how Tidal helps bloggers

One thing I love about the community is that it automatically pulls from my blog feed. I’ll get an email popping up that says Lucky wants to post something on their site and I just love that reminder. It helps prompt me to promote myself and gets more eyes on my content. The community itself is awesome - interactive with different styles and all different types of people. And it’s so easy to use and navigate!

My Tidal Contributor dashboard is really simple to use. I love the badges and the fact that when people see you’re associated with such a big company, they’re more intrigued and interested in what you have to offer. I think it’s really important to have the badges on your site so people see you’re not just a blogger, you’re a proud member of the Lucky Magazine community.

I love how being a member drives traffic to my site and links back to my blog. Lucky Community brings new readers and returning visitors every day because the community does such a great job promoting bloggers. Lucky Magazine obviously thinks it’s important for their readers to interact with bloggers and values my contribution. The community is more relatable and gives us a great outlet to be heard.

Lucky Community

With Tidal, we’ve tapped into a new crowd of fashion bloggers. When they get a post published, they tweet about it and their friends tweet about it. We’ve seen a significant pick-up in social media messaging. Seeing an increase there only helps us across the board all year long.

Learn about partnering with Tidal

We launched a few months ago with around 200 contributors. Once people started putting their contributor badges on their sites, it really picked up organically. We just crossed 2,000 contributors with help from Tidal with outreach. They helped us boost membership quite a bit. We’re trying to turn the community section of our site into a place that has hundreds if not thousands of pieces of new content per day. We worked with the Tidal team to make the workflow as easy as possible. When we click on our editorial queue, we get a list of posts that have been submitted that no one’s seen yet.

Learn how the Tidal Platform works

We first started Lucky Community because we wanted to offer the readers of the magazine and website more content than our own team could produce. With Tidal, we can get hyper-localized content on niche topics and styles that we don’t have in the magazine. We have really aggressive traffic goals and we’ve definitely seen increases because of the community. We gain a new wave of content and more general traffic than ever. Now that we’ve been doing it for a couple of months, our readers are getting really into it and the print magazine is getting more involved. We’ve built an amazing community for our fans.

Learn about our partner dashboards

We’ve had a really great experience with Tidal. Whenever we have a problem, we email the team and it’s usually fixed within the hour if not sooner than that. When it comes to getting in there and approving content, it couldn’t be easier. Tidal’s been a breath of fresh air - our community is exactly what we hoped for!
